For section4, the bridge in this section is not only played in rhythm but also with some pitches developed front he motive. The melody follow the bridge in this sections also developed from the simple melody in section 2. And the effects in this section sounds like a symphony.
The bridge of section 5 is also played by drum, however, I used some sound effects to make it sounds like an electronic music, which sounds more towards to modern style. Then the “reverse order” is demonstrated from this section as the melody in this section is actually developed from the melody in section 4.
Then Section 6 is developed from section 3 and section 7 is developed from section 2. And finally, section 8 is corresponding to section 1 as it used the same instrument with section1 (the introduction) and is in the same style but played the different melody. the melody played here is actually a repeat of a phrase from the previous melody.
Diary 1
The structure of this composition is a little bit complicated but quite interesting to me. There are many sections but lots of them are related in a reverse order. And the whole piece is composed based on three notes, C E and G. There are eight sections. The piece starts in an ancient Chinese style then is developed to modern Chinese and back to the ancient style again at the end.
The first section is an introduction, which is in an ancient Chinese style. The melody is vey simple, which are the motive of the piece, E and C. The tempo is vey slow, but when it combines with sound of the instrument used, it sounds very ancient-Chinese.
Then from Section 2 to Section 7, all of them include a bridge and a developed melody. The melodies are almost similar but were arranged differently. For section 2, its bridge is played by a drum, which sounds very Chines and then followed by a simple melody, which is developed by the motive.
The bridge of section 3 is played by a different drum, which sounds very modern. This is a contrast that I made for the comparison with the previous section. However, the drum also plays with the instrument used before, as this would make the piece more coherent. And the bridge is in a quite different rhythm. Moreover, the melody here was developed from the simple melody mentioned before, and it was developed twice, melody 1 and 2.
